To provide more latitude in creating matching color
schemes we have had both single foot REC Recoils and tip
tops as well as single foot Pacific Bay guides and tip
tops custom PVD coated in dark brown, gold and grey
colors. The PVD coatings bond at the molecular level
with the guide material and are very durable as a
result. These guides are only available at Mykiss Custom
Rods. These custom guide colors give us many more
options for development of special color schemes, which
will also include our custom wood, thread and reel seat
color choices. Each photo shows, from left to right,
size 6 through 1 single foot stainless steel guides and
a size 6 Recoil and below these is a stainless tip top.
